Pete Mac is a producer from Boston, MA currently making beats & finding inspiration in San Diego, CA. Armed with an obscure vinyl collection, drum machines & samplers, Pete reimagines the sounds of yesterday to create new feelings & life in his music. Warm chops, dusty drums, textures & hip-hop vocals define the sound this artist has cultivated so far on projects like “Beats for the Layover” and “Just Like Spring”, both released earlier in 2020.
“How to Land a Spaceship” represents the soundtrack to a seemingly impossible undertaking, a journey with no ending, an ongoing pursuit. Pete enlists the help of talented friends/collaborators Moconn, mikeyblackkk, Vannorte, and Minbo to help tell the stories found on this project. It is the intent that this project helps the listener navigate their own journey, or at least find comfort in the idea that we’re all lost in space, each wondering “How the hell do I land this thing?”
All music arranged, mixed & mastered by Pete Mac.
